1. Who we are
This website is operated by Ultra Trading Solutions Ltd, trading as Ultra Medical Equipment ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15947751) with registered office at 58b High Street, Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes, MK11 1AQ. VAT registration number: GB 509 9669 37. We are a supplier of medical equipment and consumables. Contact: info@ultramedicalequipment.com.
2. What we do — and what we don't
We supply medical equipment for procurement purposes only. We are an equipment retailer, not a healthcare provider. Our staff are not clinicians and nothing on this website, in our listings, or in our correspondence constitutes medical, clinical or therapeutic advice. Customers are responsible for ensuring any equipment purchased is suitable for their intended use, and for seeking advice from a qualified healthcare professional where appropriate.
3. Product information
We take care to describe products accurately, using information provided by the manufacturer. Product images may show accessories that are not included; the "What's included" list in each listing is definitive. We reserve the right to correct errors in listings, pricing or availability. All equipment is supplied for use strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions for use (IFU).
4. Product conditions
Each listing states the condition of the item:
- New — unused, in original packaging, with the manufacturer's warranty where applicable.
- Refurbished — previously owned, inspected, serviced and restored to good working order, with the warranty period stated in the listing.
- Pre-owned — previously owned and sold as described in the listing. Condition notes and any known faults are stated in the listing.
5. Professional and intended use
Certain products are intended for use by, or under the direction of, qualified healthcare professionals, or in appropriate clinical settings. Where a listing carries a professional-use declaration, you confirm at the point of purchase that this requirement is met. Products intended to deliver therapy for a diagnosed condition (for example CPAP devices) must only be used as directed by an appropriate healthcare professional.
6. Prices and VAT relief
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Where VAT relief is available for eligible customers, it is applied only on completion of the required eligibility declaration at checkout. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure declarations are accurate; we may be required to share declarations with HMRC.
7. Delivery, risk and title
Delivery timescales are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; title passes when payment is received in full. Please inspect deliveries promptly and report damage in transit within 48 hours.
8. Returns
Returns are governed by our Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of data, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the price paid for that order.
10. Your responsibilities and indemnity
You are responsible for using equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, applicable law, and good professional practice. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from misuse of equipment, use outside the manufacturer's intended purpose, use by unqualified persons where professional use is required, or inaccurate declarations made at purchase.
11. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in force.
